Cart’Armata Edizioni is a SME operating in the communication and sustainable tourism sector that, for 15 years, has been designing and promoting itineraries based on the principles of “slow-tourism” and “sustainable-tourism”.
It is an indipendent publishing house, Terre di mezzo Editore, that publishes 45 books a year, including guides for slow-tourism, children series and pictured books and narrative.
Several guides on walking and cycling itineraries such as the “Way of St. James”, the “Via Francigena”, and lesser-known itineraries both in Italy and Europe are widely appreciated in the community of walkers and trekkers.
The web site “Percorsi di Terre (percorsiditerre.it)” that is a community of travellers, tourism guides, and all people looking for sustainable, responsible and alternative ways of travelling.
Cart’Armata Edizioni is member of the Italian Association for Responsible Tourism and, since 2004, has been organizing the exhibition “Fa’ la cosa giusta!, the national Italian fair of conscious consuming and sustainable lifestyle”; the fair is focused on different themes, among which a section dedicated to “Sustainable and Responsible Tourism”.
The fair has an average of 70.000 visitors per year, 770 stands, 300 cultural appointments, more than 600 accredited journalists.
